Learning in Public

Tonnes of people have written about learning in public. Here are my thoughts on it.

Pros:

• You are forced to organize your thoughts and write properly - it's a good exercise to get better at writing
• Demonstration of ? domain expertise to people who you might want to impress in the future

Cons:

• If nobody reads what you write, you are sad
• If someone is reading what you write, they now know how little you know and how misinformed you are
• When you stop maintaining your digital garden, it becomes extra embarrassing
